Eine Lieferanten- und Einkaufsanalyse bei der Sony Deutschland GmbH

  • The following Thesis analyzes the Non Product purchasing processes of Sony Germany in order to optimize the corporate purchasing functions. The key issue was the unccordinated purchasing by miscellaneous departments and employees within Sony Germany that did not utilize the corporate Non Product purchasing department. Another goal was to show the current purchasing situation of Sony Germany from a neutral and unibiased point of view. Within the theoretical part of this Thesis the reader learns about theories of a lean and efficient procurement proccess. Furthermore, the effects of electronic support of procurement is laid out. The analysis showed that 84 % of all Non Product purchases were not executed through the purchasing department. That means that within 6 months goods and services valueing about 29 million € have been ordered under supposed bad conditions. An estimated cost saving of about 5 % would thus result in about 3 million € savings per year. Based on the intermediate results projects were stared to improve the purchasing situation from a strategic point of view. A project plan was developed that shows the time frame as well as the organisational background. Purchasing guidelines were developed and put into place as a basis for all further activities and actions.
