N2  - Mit der vorliegenden Bachelorarbeit wird primär versucht zwei Fragen zu beantworten.
Zum einen soll die heutige Grundeinstellung Öffentlicher Bibliotheken gegenüber dem Medium Comic dargelegt werden und zum anderen soll die Thesis analysieren, ob die
sequenzielle Kunst sich als Leseförderungsinstrument eignen kann.
Um die unterschiedlichen Dimensionen dieses Mediums besser verstehen zu können, wird der Begriff „Comic“definiert.
Des Weiteren wird erklärt, welche Wichtigkeit das Lesen darstellt und welche Einflussfaktoren die Lesegewohnheit maßgeblich beeinträchtigen.
Wesentlicher Input,der zu neuen Erkenntnissen in diesem Bereich geführt hat, wurde gewonnen durch die Auswertung von Fragebögen.
Diese richteten sich an Großstadt-Bibliotheken, die
ekz, den Deutschen Jugendliteraturpreis und zentrale Akteure.
N2  - The bachelor thesis mainly tries to answer two questions. On the one hand, the basic attitude of public libraries nowadays towards the medium of comic should be explained
and on the other hand it should be analyzed whether sequential art is suitable as a readingpromotion tool.
To better understand the different dimensions of this medium, the word “comic” will be defined. Furthermore, the importance of reading and which factors significantly influence the reading habits will be explained. Substantial input, which has led to new findings in this area, was generated through the evaluation of questionnaires.
They were addressed to public libraries, the ekz, the German Children's Literature
Award and key actors.
